Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, who created the roles of, respectively,
Roger and Mark in the original Broadway production of the Tony-winning
musical Rent, will return to 54 Below later this summer with their concert evening titled Celebrating Friendship & History.
Following sold-out shows in January, the duo, as previously reported, will perform August 6-10
at 7 PM and August 13-17 at 7 PM at the intimate Manhattan venue. For those unable to attend in person, 54 Below just announced that the August 17 performance will also stream live as part of the Live at 54 Below series.
Attendees can expect songs from various projects throughout the
actors' careers, music that has influenced their lives, and a few of the
hits from Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent.
Pascal has also been seen on Broadway in Pretty Woman: The Musical, Disaster!, Something Rotten!, Memphis, Chicago, and Aida.
Rapp's Broadway credits also include If/Then; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Six Degrees of Separation; Precious Sons; and The Little Prince and the Aviator.
