Larry Owens will perform a stand-up comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe next month. Owens originated the leading role of Usher in the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning musical A Strange Loop when it premiered Off-Broadway. He's also known for his Sondheim concerts at Carnegie Hall.
The multi-talented performer will perform a solo show in Scotland, titled Larry Owens Live. Owens has also appearing on television in the hit comedy Abbott Elementary. Owens will perform his show at the Assembly Roxy (Upstairs) on August 2-13 and August 15-27 at 8:35 PM. And for the musical theatre fans, there will also be songs woven in.
