Performances began May 15 for the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum engagement of the Yale Repertory Theatre production of Samuel Beckett's Happy Days. The production, starring Dianne Wiest and directed by James Bundy, is scheduled to continue performances through June 30.
The Yale Rep production of Happy Days originally opened in New Haven, Connecticut, in 2016; it later played an engagement at Theatre for a New Audience in 2017. Following the conclusion of the Los Angeles run, Happy Days will next be seen as part of Berkeley Repertory Theatre's 2019-2020 season.
