French Stewart in The Nerd.

The Nerd centers on a man who welcomes the man who saved his life only to find that the hero — a bumbling idiot — takes him up on the offer and won't leave. David Rose directs the comedy with Stewart in the title role. Stewart is best known for his turn as Harry Solomon on the NBC sitcom "3rd Rock from the Sun" that also starred John Lithgow. His other TV credits include "Seinfeld," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Just Shoot Me" and "Ally McBeal."  The actor, who also appeared in such films as "Leaving Las Vegas," "Dick," "Stargate," "Love Stinks" and — in voice only — "Hercules," has played in Los Angeles productions of Zombie Attack, Party Mix, Intervention, and Pot Mom.

Tickets to The Nerd at the Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) in Burbank, CA can be purchased by calling (818) 558-7000. For more information, visit www.colonytheatre.org.
