Industry News 2022 Tony Nominee Deirdre O'Connell and Billy Crudup to Co-Host Vineyard's 2022 Gala

Additional artists have also been announced for the gala's line-up.

The Vineyard 2022 Gala will be co-hosted 2022 Tony nominee Deirdre O'Connell (Dana H.) and Billy Crudup (Harry Clarke). The annual gala will be held May 16 with a dinner held at Boucherie and a concert to follow at Daryl Roth Theatre.

Additional guest artists have also been announced, including Latoya Edwards (School Girls), Wilson Jermaine Heredia (Rent), Julie Benko (Funny Girl), Grammy winner Melissa Manchester, Rock-and-Roll Hall of Famer Felix Cavaliere, and Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton). They will join the previously announced performers Mandy Gonzalez, Judy Kuhn and Anika Noni Rose.

Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George) will direct the evening, which will honor New York City Council Member Carlina Rivera and celebrate late singer-songwriter Laura Nyro. Dan Lipton (The Last Ship) will serve as musical director.

In addition to dinner and a concert, the event will feature a live auction. The event is sponsored by The Blavatnik Family Foundation and The Broadway Exchange. Members of the gala committee include John Barrie and Betsy Smith, Kathleen and Henry Chalfant, Mark Lerner and Steven Frank, Sally Horchow, Cody Lassen, Caryl Orlando, Elise Jan Flagg, Sue Marks, Daryl Roth, Annette Stover and Richard Feiner, and Signature Bank. 

The gala will raise funds to support the theatre's season as well as Vineyard's Good Neighbor program, which provides local audience members with free and low cost tickets.
