In celebration of the Rockettes' 100th anniversary, the legendary precision dance troupe will be partnering with the Museum of Broadway for a special holiday season exhibition.

Called The Rockettes 100th Anniversary: A Century of Sisterhood, the exhibit will open to the public November 13 and run through January 5, 2026. The display celebrates the iconic style, choreography, and evolution of the Rockettes, and features costumes designed by Bob Mackie, Gregg Barnes, Marco Montedoro, Pete Menefee, and Vincente Minnelli.

Founded in St. Louis, MO in 1925, the Rockettes are the longest-running precision dance company in America and world renowned for their signature technique. Initially known as the “Missouri Rockets” at the time of their founding, the dance company relocated to New York City in 1927 before finally settling at their home, Radio City Music Hall, in 1932, where they became known as the Rockettes. In 1933, the annual Christmas Spectacular began and still features the original, classic number “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers.”

The exhibit will visually take guests along the 100 year journey of the troupe, from Missouri to the Great Stage at Radio City Music Hall, and invite visitors of all ages to step into the whimsical world of annual Christmas Spectacular for an immersive photo opportunity alongside the famed Wooden Soldiers.
