The two powerhouse vocalists have combined forces for this haunting cover of Taylor Swift’s “I Did Something Bad.”

Shot by Ryan Parma, the video features Broadway’s Shoshana Bean and Cynthia Erivo accompanied by viola player Kiara Perico and cellist April Guthrie. The duet marks the first time the longtime friends have sung together.

Erivo made her Broadway debut in 2015 as Celie in the revival of The Color Purple, for which she won a Tony Award. She is next slated to appear in the upcoming film Bad Times at the El Royale. She also filmed Widows alongside Viola Davis in her feature debut and will play Harriet Tubman in the upcoming biopic Harriet.

Bean has been known in Broadway circles since she made her debut in Hairspray. She was the standby for Elphaba in Wicked and took over the leading role full time in 2005. She is a frequent concert performer in New York City and across the nation.
