Come From Away’s Christopher Ashley received the Tony Award for Best Direction of A Musical. Dear Evan Hansen received 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical as well as Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for the show’s star, Ben Platt.
