This year's Tony Awards will have a new producing team in 2026. Stepping in as producers will be Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall, and Jack Sussman. Levine Hall and Sussman both have a long history with the Tonys in executive producer roles. Kapoor—a two-time Emmy winner for the 2024 Oscars and the 2022 Adele concert special One Night Only—is a new face for the Broadway honors, joining the team with a deep background in live event television. Along with their producer titles, Kapoor and Levine Hall will serve as the event's co-showrunners.

Kapoor, Levine Hall, and Sussman succeed former production company and showrunners White Cherry Entertainment, who had been at the head of the honors since 2003. Over their tenure (much of which also included the leadership of Levine Hall and Sussman), the Tonys earned 61 Emmy nominations and 19 wins.

“The 79th Annual Tony Awards are in exceptional hands,” say American Theatre Wing President and CEO Heather Hitchens and Broadway League President Jason Laks in a joint statement. “With this team’s unmatched expertise in live events and bold creative vision, they will elevate the broadcast to new heights, building on last year’s record-breaking telecast while delivering a show that’s fresh, modern, and fully reflective of Broadway’s ever-evolving spirit.”

“As former theatre kids, stepping into the role of executive producers for the 79th Tony Awards is a tremendous honor,” jointly add Kapoor, Levine Hall, and Sussman. “There’s nothing quite like capturing the magic of live theatre on a global stage. Our team is committed to bringing audiences closer to the creativity, innovation, and heart that define Broadway.”

This year's ceremony is set for June 7 at Radio City Music Hall, their most frequent home. Nominations are due to be unveiled May 5, with the opening-night eligibility cut-off for this year's productions set for April 26.

The 79th Annual Tony Awards will air live on both coasts via CBS, streaming live on Paramount+ for Premium-level members.

The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing.
