Tony Award winner Jennifer Holliday will make her Australian debut at Sydney Cabaret July 6–7.
Best known for originating the role of Effie White in the Broadway premiere of Dreamgirls, Holliday last appeared on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of The Color Purple. Holliday also appeared on Broadway in Chicago, Grease, and Your Arms Too Short to Box With God.
