Directed by Karen Carpenter, the reading will be held at 7 PM at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre in The Pershing Square Signature Center. Proceeds benefit The Joyful Heart Foundation.

Raúl Castillo, Annie Golden, Melissa Gilbert, Deborah Rayne, and Adina Verson join Karl in the play, which is set in a small town in Pennsylvania and concerns a young woman who returns home to the scene of the horrible events that changed the course of her life forever.

"We are thrilled at the opportunity to use Jean's powerful play to support and shine a light on the critical work of The Joyful Heart Foundation," says director Carpenter in an earlier statement. "Their transformative work promotes a holistic approach to healing for survivors. They have been reforming legislation to ensure greater access to justice and healing for survivors, and changing the way society thinks about, talks about, and responds to this violence. In this pivotal time of the #MeToo movement and the #TimesUp initiative, we look forward to using the power of art, to contribute to the tipping point that enables us to transform our society for the better."

The reading is produced by Rainy Day Productions in association with Aaron Grant Theatrical. Grant is the executive producer.

Tickets, priced $20–$200, can be purchased online at TicketCentral.com, by phone at (212) 279-4200, or in person at 416 West 42nd Street.
