SEEKING
Equity chorus dancers (Male characters) for WEST SIDE STORY.
Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities, and ages are encouraged to audition.
All roles will be understudied.
ENSEMBLE: 18+ to play teenagers. Very strong dancers who sing and act well.
Members of the gangs and their girlfriends (Jets and Sharks). The Sharks are a gang of Puerto Rican teens and their girlfriends. Latino actors are encouraged to audition. Will play a variety of ensemble roles. Some ensemble members will cover principal roles.
There are no Equity stage managerial positions available.
PREPARATION
Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Bring sneakers & character shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please bring your picture and resume, stapled together.
