ABOUT THE POSITION
The VP, Marketing & Sales – North America is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of all marketing, sales, and sponsorship initiatives across ATG’s U.S. venues. These executive drives commercial performance across theatrical, and all self-promoted music, comedy, and events (MCE) content, ensuring revenue growth, strong brand positioning, and best-in-class patron engagement. The role reports directly to the CEO, North America, and maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Group Chief Marketing Officer to ensure alignment with global marketing priorities and brand standards.
This role oversees all North American sponsorship initiatives and serves as the primary ATG contact for the company’s sponsorship agency. They will develop scalable partnership programs and ensure sponsorship objectives are delivered consistently across all venues and verticals.
In partnership with the North American Management Team (NAMT), this leader shapes ATG’s corporate narrative and external profile—positioning ATG as a global force in live entertainment, a creatively led organization, and a trusted partner for producers, promoters, and brand partners.
The position manages Three direct reports and has dotted-line oversight of local marketing directors across ATG’s U.S. venues. The VP sits on the NAMT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
· Lead strategy to drive ticket sales and maximize revenue across all U.S. venues, with emphasis on self-promoted MCE and theatrical content.
· Build strategies to exceed KPIs including occupancy, ATP, conversion, and ROI on marketing spend.
· Oversee data-driven insight generation to understand audience behavior, market trends, and growth opportunities.
· Explore and seek new revenue streams through creative solutions and offerings.
Team Leadership & Organizational Alignment
· Manage and develop three direct reports
· Ensure alignment of sales, marketing, CRM, and e-Commerce strategies with business needs of the whole organization
· Provide dotted-line guidance to local marketing directors across all NA venues.
· Facilitate onboarding, training, and best-practice sharing across all U.S. marketing teams.
· Collaborate closely with the Chief Content Officer, SVP of Music/Comedy/Special Events, SVP of Regional Programming, VP of Ticketing, and VP of Hospitality to align messaging, sales strategy, and customer experience.
Sponsorship & Partnerships
· Oversee all North American sponsorship strategy, execution, and reporting.
· Drive national-level sponsorship opportunities, including cross-venue packages, multi-vertical campaigns, and brand integrations.
· Establish consistent sponsorship processes, toolkits, KPIs, and measurement frameworks across the U.S. portfolio.
· Partner closely with internal teams and venue leadership to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met and activated at the highest standard.
Brand, Communications & Corporate Positioning
· Champion the ATGE brands in relation to the wider live-entertainment ecosystem, ensuring we show up with clarity and distinction.
· Contribute to establishing ATGE as a go-to destination for audiences and artists through consistent, resonant brand expression.
· Serve as ATG’s North American brand steward—defining messaging, elevating brand visibility, and ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
· Oversee corporate digital communications, including website content, video, and social channels.
· Represent ATG as a spokesperson where appropriate.
· Support M&A efforts through marketing and PR strategy development.
Agency & Vendor Management
· Manage agency relationships, negotiate corporate rates, and ensure alignment across national and local offices.
· Oversee performance marketing and e-commerce initiatives, ensuring continual optimization and innovation.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
· Deep experience in live entertainment marketing (theatrical, concerts, comedy, family, and/or attractions).
· Proven track record delivering high-impact marketing, ticket sales, communications, and sponsorship programs.
· Experience in sponsorship strategy, brand partnerships, or agency management strongly preferred.
· Strong B2C and B2B marketing capabilities, including messaging development, business partner engagement, and revenue-driving strategy.
· Highly analytical with success interpreting data to drive commercial outcomes.
· Experience working within multinational organizations and distributed teams.
· Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
