Contract: Broadway League Modified Pink Contract
Compensation: $1,697 per week + All Applicable Overtime Per Broadway League Modified Pink Contract

Position Summary

RIVERDANCE is looking for a Head Carpenter for our 2026 US National Tour Season. This is an IATSE Modified Pink Tour Contract. We are entering our 31st year of an exceptional tour with a wonderful family of dancers and fantastic crew that comes back year after year.

The Video Electrician will be part of a 3-person Electrician team, but specifically in charge of loading in the LED Walls which includes a full upstage wall and two mid-stage ground-supported LED walls. The candidate will work with the local union labor in each venue to build the screens and then keeping an eye on the video content during every show. Additionally, the video electrician will assist the electric’s team with the load-in of any and all fixtures as well as maintain fixtures as needed during the show and work calls.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Lead the hang of the video truss and all applicable cables.

· Lead the instillation of the LED video wall and ensure all panels are working properly.

· Direct the crew in the instillation of the ground supported video walls in conjunction with the head carpenter.

· Ensure all video content is firing correctly and all communication between panels, racks, laptops, and lightboards are working properly.

· Assist the electrics crew in the installation of any fixtures during load-in.

· During the show, ensure all content is working as designed and work with the head electrician and head carpenter to safely fix any issues that may arise.

· Troubleshoot and maintain electrics equipment and fixtures during the performance as allowed by local crew and performance requirements.

· Oversee the safe and efficient load-out of all video and LX equipment as needed.

· Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.

· Adjust content based on potential changes to screen size depending on venue limitations.

The desired experience and qualifications for this position include:

· Have an understanding of Disguise and signal flow for LED walls.

  • Team player, able to work long hours in very close quarters with many different types of passionate personalities.

· Experience working with moving lights.

· An understanding of LED technology.

· Must have experience installing video walls.

· Must have experience building and rigging box truss.

· The ability to work at heights.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in high stress and time-sensitive environments

· Ideal candidate will have touring experience and has spent time on a sleeper bus.

· Tour is made up of split weeks and one-nighters so candidate should have experience with flexible schedules.

· Experience working in multiple road houses across the country is preferred.
