Seeking Sound Designers - Vanguard Theater

Vanguard Theater is seeking sound designers for their upcoming summer season. We are looking for both A1s and A2s for several different opportunities. Please see below for more specific information.

VTC Kids Daycamp

VTC Kids Day Camp is where young actors ages 8-13 learn to believe in their ideas, express themselves with courage, and support one another. Through basic musical theater techniques, campers bring characters, stories, and emotions to life – boosting focus, imagination, and teamwork. Our camp is grounded in DREAM values: Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship, helping campers develop trust, cooperation, and collaboration – skills that shine onstage and off.

Important Dates

Tech: July 25th - July 28th, 2026

Performances: July 29th - July 30th, 2026

Stipend: $750

DREAM Summerstock VTC Intensive

DREAM Summerstock VTC Intensive is a 2 week comprehensive sleepaway program for the serious Theater performers, ages of 12-19. Staff is led by professional actors and directors. Campers participate in skill enhancing workshops, a full range of outdoor activities and perform in one fully produced show.

We are putting on 5 musicals and need sound designers for the full two week duration of camp.

Important Dates

Orientation: July 30th-August 1st, 2026

Dates: August 2nd-17th, 2026

Stipend: $2,000
