SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in UNTITLED IMMERSIVE MUSICAL ATTRACTION (see breakdown).

Note From Casting: In reference to the Breakdown information – these are descriptions of the characters as identified in the script and in collaboration with the creative team. They are not meant to be exhaustive of who should play these roles and we seek to cast as expansively and authentically as possible. We are committed to inclusive representation of race, ethnicity, gender, body type, and ability. We also recognize that all characters in this show are written on the binary (use he/him or she/her pronouns) and we invite gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender, and non-binary actors to submit for the roles they most identify with.

PREPARATION
Please be prepared to sing a BRIEF (90 second cut) song from legit musical theatre repertoire. Do not sing pop or rock music. Please bring your book of music in case you are asked to sing a second selection. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a current picture and resume, stapled together.

BREAKDOWN

UNTITLED IMMERSIVE MUSICAL ATTRACTION
SEEKING:
We are in search of unique artists who bring both exceptional singing abilities and a willingness to dive into the world of immersive storytelling. ALL members of the company will be part of the ensemble, stepping out to assume various featured roles as cast. While experience in immersive storytelling is preferred, a strong passion and eagerness to embrace this innovative approach is equally valued. We are seeking actors who lead with a sense of community and who want to contribute equally, as a company, to the storytelling experience as a whole.

ENSEMBLE: A diverse group of performers who portray various characters and play an integral role in creating the immersive world. Strong singing, movement, and acting abilities are required. Seeking performers with strong legit musical theatre and/or opera voices - sopranos (lyric or coloratura), mezzo sopranos, contraltos, tenors, baritones, or basses.

ENSEMBLE + F1 - Early 40s. COLORATURA SOPRANO. A fiercely talented and assertive personality whose commanding presence and unwavering self-confidence dominate any room she enters. A formidable force to be reckoned with.

ENSEMBLE + F2 - Early 20s. SOPRANO. A passionate young woman with a captivating voice that seamlessly combines elements of classical and legit musical theatre. Her journey is marked by a deep inner strength and resilience as she navigates the complex emotions surrounding her past.

ENSEMBLE + F3 - Late 30s - Early 50s. MEZZO SOPRANO. A vigilant and enigmatic woman with a mysterious past. She has an air of authority and intrigue – balancing stern discipline with a protective and caring nature.

ENSEMBLE + M1 - Late 30s – 50. BARITONE. Often caught between maintaining order and appeasing various eccentric personalities, his attempts to project authority and elegance are frequently undercut by his susceptibility to confusion and panic. Has a keen sense of sophisticated humor.

ENSEMBLE + M2 - Late 30s-50s. OPERATIC TENOR. A celebrated and accomplished person known for his grandiose presence and pride. Despite his professional success, he often finds himself entangled in personal drama.

ENSEMBLE + M3 - 30s – 40s. HIGH BARITONE OR TENOR. Enigmatic figure, whose tragic past drives him to seek solace. His complex nature evokes both fear and sympathy as he grapples with his desire for acceptance.

ENSEMBLE + M4 - Late 20s – early 30s. HIGH BARITONE. Brave and steadfast young man with an unwavering sense of honor and duty.
