Equity actors for roles in TourCo's production of TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA (See breakdown).

A local tour bringing free Shakespeare to a new park and community each night across the greater St. Louis area.

BREAKDOWN

TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA

All characters may be played by actors of any race/ethnicity. All roles require singing; ability play a musical instrument is a plus. All will also double with other characters, TBD.


SEEKING:

Valentine: (he/him), 20s, a young man sworn against love, until it finds him. Best friend of Proteus.

Proteus: (he/him), 20s, a young man who is obsessed with love to the point of ignoring everything else. Falls quickly and hard. Best friend of Valentine.

Silvia: (she/her), 20s, a wealthy and confident young woman, object of Proteus and Valentine’s affection

Julia: (she/her), 20s, former love of Proteus who is foresworn. Disguises herself as a boy to serve him

Speed: any age or gender – Valentine’s very funny servant

Launce / the Duke: any gender 40s/50s – Proteus’ very funny servant, and a dog lover. Will double with the Duke of Milan, Silvias strict parent
