The Drama Desk-nominated team behind A Eulogy For Roman returns with a suspenseful workplace comedy inspired by New York City’s 150-foot tourist attraction in Hudson Yards. At The Vessel, three minimum-wage parks employees work together to provide visitor support, slowly questioning the structure that looms over their lives.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:
DRAKE - M. Late 20s-early 30s. POC. Parks ambassador. Logically driven to the point of detachment. Redditor. Craves friendship and community, whether he is fully aware or not. Believes the system can’t be changed, and we must learn to survive it.

MISSY - F. Mid 20s. POC. Parks ambassador. Full of life. Would be the personality hire, except she’s also incredible at her job. “An empath.” Bright on the surface, though darkness may loom just beneath it. Believes the system doesn’t need to change, and we must celebrate the positive inside it.

VIGGO - M. Early 20s. Any race. New hire. Ex-Mormon. On the run, and doesn’t intend to stay long. Wildcard. At first: quiet, watchful. And then: bursting at the seams with energy, bordering on manic. Believes the system is broken and should be burned down entirely.

RATE:
Base $600/wk

Performances: July 29 - August 23rd* (*possible extension through 8/30)
