🎤 We're excited to premire our new series at The Green Room 42 appropriately titled: Not Your Type! produced by 11 O'Clock Productions
Think MisCast, but go further. Not Your Type! breaks traditional casting experiences by celebrating gender bent, age defying, and orientation flipped storytelling. Performers are invited to step into roles they typically would never be "typed" for; think characters outside of their perceived identity.
Our goal is to create an inclusive community that can build a story driven cabaret. This show will spotlight bold reinterpretations, unexpected choices, and performers who will challenge the status quo of casting. We strive to showcase a diverse group of NYC locals where authenticity will take center stage. Show us what ISN'T your type!

🎶Audition Instructions
Please submit a 32-bar cut of a song that either fits the theme or is in a contemporary Musical Theatre style that best showcases your voice and performance energy. Auditions are due by January 4th 2026.
While this is an unpaid performance, all cast members will receive professional video footage of the show for their own use. Please note that all cast members must sell two tickets to the show in order to receive footage.
