Teaching Artist Opportunities at Actor’s Professional Theatre Conservatory (APTC)
Location: [Forestburgh NY and Fayetteville PA] | Position Type: [Contract]

Actor’s Professional Theatre Conservatory (APTC) is seeking passionate Teaching Artists to join our year-round programming for young artists ages 8–17. If you are an artist-educator who values a human-centered, “process over product” approach and believes in nurturing both artistic and personal growth, we want to hear from you.

About APTC
Actor’s Professional Theatre Conservatory (APTC) is the education program of Theatre Untitled, a New York–based company that supports artists across a lifetime—providing time, space, and resources to create new work from their first creative experiences through their artistic careers.

Founded in 2008 as a one‑week summer camp for young artists in Pennsylvania, APTC has grown into a year‑round arts education program offering immersive theatre experiences—from fractured fairy tale productions and day camps to intensive multi‑week programs for young people ages 8–17. APTC has partnered with theatres across the country and brought industry‑leading teaching artists into communities both in‑person and virtually.

At APTC, we truly believe that through the performing arts we enrich and enhance lives one young artist at a time

What We Value

Process Over Product: We champion exploration, experimentation, and growth over perfection.
Respect & Belonging: We believe in creating a space where everyone—young artists, teaching artists, and partners—feels seen, heard, and valued.

Holistic Growth: Our programs extend beyond performance skills, cultivating life skills that endure beyond the stage.

Continuous Learning: We are committed to ongoing learning and development for both young artists and educators, fostering a community that grows together.

Who You Are
You’re a dynamic and empathetic artist and educator who understands that teaching goes beyond technique. You’re passionate about guiding young artists through their creative process, building confidence, fostering collaboration, and encouraging personal growth along the way.
