TEACHING ARTIST POSITION:
Teaching artists in mainstages after school programs are passionate about bringing theater to diverse communities of children at both public and private schools throughout NYC and NJ. Our teaching artists bring an unparalleled level of joy, fun and excitement to the classroom and have a unique ability to teach theatre technique while incorporating important life lessons and values. Applicants with a background in devising, directing, acilitating for Multi-Lingual Learners, and can drive/have a car are highly encouraged to apply!
Time Commitment:
After School programs are typically held one day per week on weekdays typically during 3pm-5pm. We have occasional opportunities during school hours, held 1-2 days per week during the hours of 9am-2:30pm. Depending upon availability, you may be offered one or more programs on multiple weekdays.
PAY:
$100-250 per session depending on length.

PERFORMER POSITION:
Performers in mainstages interactive shows are passionate about bringing theater to diverse communities of children. We are looking for performers who are dynamic character actors with a contagious personality and innate ability to connect with children. Our performers bring an abundant amount of energy and excitement to every performance and facilitate a safe and inclusive space for all participants. Applicants with a background in devising, facilitating for Multi-Lingual Learners, and can drive are highly encouraged to apply!
Time Commitment:
Performances are held typically on weekday and weekend mornings and afternoons with the occasional evening performance.
