Treasure Trunk Theatre is currently seeking a part-time, in-person, Studio Coordinator for our third studio location, opening in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn in early 2025!
The job will include a variety of administrative, facility coordination, and front desk duties—a great fit for anyone interested in arts administration and/or early childhood education!

Those who will best succeed in this role will work well under pressure and be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and will have:

- The ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
- Confidence in troubleshooting technical issues and taking on DIY projects around the studio
- Experience in overseeing a studio space or retail store
- Incredible organizational skills and a sense of pride in finding creative solutions
- Proficient skills in Google Suite
- The ability to carry up to 40lbs and carry supplies up and down one flight of stairs
- Preference for candidates with experience working with children’s programs.
- Preference for candidates with a creative side, a love for arts and crafts, and/or an eye for design
Duties Include:
- Facilitate maintenance and upkeep of the studio and basement storage area:
- Includes facilitating trash removal each week
- Perform custodial duties between professional cleanings as needed
- Keep our supplies stocked, organized, and running efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date marketing materials including chalkboards, printed calendars, and all visible areas in the studio, hallway, and outside the studio.
- Coordination of program supplies:
- Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and preparation of program supplies for classes, camps, and parties at the studio, as assigned.
- Assist the Events Director with preparing the studio for weekend party rentals.
- During Program Hours, be present at the front desk to check students in for class and answer questions by staying up to date on company programs and policies. Maintaining impeccable customer service to build a strong relationship with our neighborhood and client base.
- Work closely with our small administrative team on duties as assigned
Salary:
$22/hour
This position will work in person between 15-25 hr per week with some set hours during regular business hours and some flexible hours. There is a high potential for growth within the company.
