Gallery Players, Park Slope, Brooklyn's premier, award-winning Off-Off-Broadway theater, celebrating its 58th season, is seeking a choreographer, sound designer, costume designer, and lighting designer for its upcoming production of the musical comedy Something Rotten!, with performances from May 3rd to May 18th.

Rehearsals begin approximately six weeks beforehand (on/around March 26th) and include Tech (approximately April 25th - 27th) and Dress Rehearsals (approximately April 29th - May 2nd).

CHOREOGRAPHER applicants should have experience working with large ensembles/creating splashy dance numbers, proficiency with teaching tap, a thorough knowledge of musical theatre history and…a solid sense of humor/camp.

SOUND DESIGNER applicants should have experience with the microphoning of selected actors within a total cast of approximately 20-25 plus a live band of about 5-7 musicians.

COSTUME DESIGNER applicants should have familiarity and experience creating period (Elizabethan-era, in this case) costumers for large scale productions. Roots/connections in the NYC thheater community are helpful.

LIGHTING DESIGNER applicants should have experience lighting both simply and realistically but also with a sense of big Broadway "dazzle" ( both worlds exist in this show).
