DESCRIPTION

The Senior Technical Designer of TTS Studios is primarily responsible for managing one or more members of the technical design department including developing fabrication, construction, and drafting plans for the projects produced at TTS Studio. This position is responsible for creating or delegating 3D models and 2D construction plates to other support members of the Technical Design Team. The Senior Technical Designer is responsible for considering the scope of the project and for interpreting the design intent to create the best construction plan possible based on the budgetary and schedule constraints of the project. They also work with the Project Managers and Director of Production to provide accurate, efficient plans for the different fabrication departments and are responsible for the creation and maintenance of all modeling, drafting, and CNC programming standards. The Senior Technical Designer is one of two or more Senior Technical Designers reporting directly to the Director of Projects.
