Opening for Lighting and Sound Tech for The Shadow Box Theatre

The Shadow Box Theatre, a diverse, award-winning non-profit musical puppet theatre performing for children, is seeking a lighting and sound person for an 80 hour contract, approx. 5 hours per week during the months of January, February, April and May for our upcoming Mainstage shows, “How The Turtle Got Its Shell” and “The Earth and Me,” with the potential of continuing next season.

Technical skills and/or a good working knowledge in lighting (ETC Express
24/48 Lighting Console with monitor), sound, and possibly simple construction is required. Experience with puppetry is helpful but not required. A valid driver’s license and comfortability driving a small U-Haul in the city is a plus, but not required.

Position starts in January 2026. Hours are flexible, but the usual range is 9AM to 2PM. This is a part-time position, as listed above. $25 per hour.
