Position: Senior Tax Accountant
Type: Full-time
Classification: Exempt
Location: Remote

Reports to: Tax Director

Overview:
NETworks Presentations is looking for a highly motivated, out-of-the-box thinking Senior Tax Accountant. If you enjoy a challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then you may be the right fit for the role. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and experience to navigate tax and financial reporting issues. This position is remote based but may require working in the corporate office periodically.



Responsibilities
:
Duties of the Senior Tax Accountant include but are not limited to the following:

· Accumulate, analyze, and process financial accounting data to prepare tax returns.

· Prepare and review complex federal, multi-state and local tax returns for partnerships and C Corporations.

· Gather information and respond to various IRS and state notices.

· Ensure adherence to compliance related deadlines such as extensions, tax return filings and other tax related matters.

· Ability to understand and research federal and state regulations, as well as international tax regulations.

· Provide knowledge of state nonresident withholding requirements.

· Provide knowledge of federal withholding requirements.

· Gather financial information and prepare tax filings for various reporting requirements, such as Form 1099s and Form 1042s.

· Research tax regulations, understanding the applicable tax implications for specific issues.

· Overtime required to meet filing deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax or related field.

· CPA or EA certifications preferred, but not required.

· 7 or more years professional tax experience, with knowledge of partnerships and C Corporations tax returns.

· High level knowledge of technology. Experience with CCH ProSystem PFX and CaseWare Working papers preferred.

· Ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple assignments.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience, pay range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 with benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and paid time off.

SALARY

$105,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
