DESCRIPTION
England’s titular renaissance monarch, on her annual progress through the countryside, acts as the figurehead of our faire. This (non-fighting) role requires poise, grace, as well as a great deal of improvisational flexibility. The actress portraying the queen must be able to project voluminously, demonstrate a sense of kind approachability whilst also giving off the gravitas of a world leader, and interact well with children and adults.To audition for the New York Renaissance Faire you will need to submit a recording to the New York Renaissance Faire 2026 Audition Form. Submissions will be closed on Monday March 16th, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Callback Invitations will be sent by Wednesday March 25th. Callbacks are scheduled for Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th.
