MILLBROOK PLAYHOUSE 2024 HOLIDAY SEASON VIRTUAL AUDITION
NON-UNION CONTRACT

Millbrook Playhouse is accepting video submissions for Older Ralph, Mother, Old Man, for its upcoming production of Philip Grecian's play "A Christmas Story," directed by Zack Steele.

Audition Requirements:

• Please submit your headshot, resume, and video audition by October 27, 2024, to [email protected].

• Please read a selected scene from the play; the link is on the casting page on our website.
• Please send any supplementary material you would like our casting team to review.
• Please send ONLY links to all videos. Direct files and downloads are not accepted and will not be viewed.

Rehearsal Schedule:

• Rehearsals begin on or about November 22 through December 4.
• There will be no rehearsal on Thanksgiving.
• Performance Dates: Dec. 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, at 7:30 and Dec. 8, 14, and 15 at 2:00; ten (10) performances.

Contract basics for Out-of-Town Actors:

• Compensation: Weekly salary $400.00.
• Accommodation: Shared housing with other staff, may include roommates. Houses are located within a 5-10 minute drive (exceptions possible).
• Travel: Round-trip bus fare from the tri-state area (Philly, NY, DC) or equivalent travel reimbursement provided.
• Meal: A meal is provided on two show days.
• Other Duties: Required to assist with set strike at the end of the run.
