Something Better Productions is seeking a creative and organized part time Social Media Manager to collect content and maintain our social media presence during our off-broadway production of Forget I Said Anything this Spring through Summer. This role will plan, create, and publish content that promotes our show, document the rehearsal process, and strengthens our media presence across all digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts, experience managing social media accounts, and experience in website management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with show rehearsal and show schedules
  
  

• Plan promotional campaigns for shows
  
  

• Create engaging posts including graphics, photos, short videos, and captions
  
  

• Capture behind-the-scenes moments during rehearsals, tech week, and performances
  
  

• Collaborate with directors, performers, and staff to highlight the creative process
  
  

• Manage accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  
  

• Manage website and keep up to date content available on it
  
  

• Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions
  
  

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of social media management experience (arts, entertainment, or nonprofit experience a plus)
  
  

• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms
  
  

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
  
  

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  
  

• Passion for theater and live performance strongly preferred

Timeline:

Payment:

Stipend commensurate with experience ranging from $500-$1500 plus portion of ticket sales.
