CONTRACT
Independent Theatre Contract
$623 weekly minimum
Plus pension and health.
Housing provided for out-of-area actors.
SEEKING
Equity actors for roles for New Jersey Repertory Company's 2026 Season (See breakdown).
Theater's statement: Age is not as important as the spirit of the actor. We are looking for actors who embody the sense of youth or age needed for each role. Even in the more serious plays, an ability to play comedy is important.
We welcome actors of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation, disabilities and neuro-diversities to audition.
PREPARATION
Please prepare 2 contemporary andcontrasting monologues (one comedic, one dramatic) totaling no more than 2 1/2 minutes. In addition, each person auditioning should bring 2 pictures with Resumes attached.

Free parking and entrance to the building is through the parking lot off of Sairs Ave. For NJ Transit take the North Jersey Coast Line to Long Branch. Taxis are always there, or, if you prefer, it's a 10-minute walk to the theater.

Bobby Maloney: A silver-haired, working-class tough who was born in Gloucester, Mass and will most likely die there.
Douggie Shimmatrarro: A small, baby-faced "kid" who is returning to his hometown after a long absence.
Frankie Verga/Philly Verga: Middle aged, thin, cat-like, dangerous. Philly is a more flashy version of his brother.
Dubbah Morrision: Same age as Frankie, but much smaller and much more affable.
