SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in MALA ARIA. Some roles will be understudied.

AMAZIA: mid to late 20s, she/hers, African/Black – a research scientist determined to eradicate Malaria; brilliant and finding her place between two cultures.

KEZIA: late teens to early 20s, she/hers African/Black – Amazia’s sister; sweet and observant, the youngest in the family.

BABA AMAZIA: mid to late 50s, he/his, African/Black – Amazia and Kezia’s father; loving, erudite, traditional, stubborn.

JASMINE: early to mid 30s, she/hers, African/Black – Amazia’s partner; a medical doctor, caring as well as tough and loyal.

PREPARATION
Please prepare the Sides (which will be available the morning of the audition through the Equity monitor) for the character you are auditioning for. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.
