Looking for six actors to perform in a staged reading of a new play, MADAMADAM. Must be local to the area and able to come to Saratoga for rehearsals and performance.

Availability for a 1 or 2 Zoom rehearsals in March, as well as 3 or 4 in-person rehearsals in Saratoga prior to performance.

Small stipend provided.

About the project:

MADAMADAM is a full length play that explores what happens when a queer man returns to his deadhome - the one he no longer identifies or chooses as his own— in search of a reckoning.

After years of going “no contact” with his mother, Garrett decides to pay her a surprise visit on Thanksgiving Day. Armed with a new radical understanding of himself and his family, his visit disrupts the holiday and sets in motion of a chain of events that will have shocking and unexpected consequences.
