DESCRIPTION

“Uncovered Scenes - from Ukraine” produced by Town Square

Productions with participation from New York’s Ensemble Studio Theater and the

Vinnytsia Music and Drama Theater is seeking a Ukrainian / English translator to work

with numerous playwrights who will conduct interviews with Ukrainian theater artists

and citizens. The Ukrainian resident stories of witness will be used to convey the

Ukrainian experience to an American audience, using art to build stronger connections

between our countries and people.

Each interview averaging an hour long and will be scheduled with the Playwright and

Ukraine resident via teleconference (I.E. Zoom, Google meet, Jitsi). The Play Presentation

will be featured at the The Ukrainian Institute of America on February 28th. You (the

translator) will be scheduling with the playwrights from December 10th and January 20,

2025.

A stipend of $250 will be paid in gratitude of your time and skills.
