Costume Designer

Production: The Sunshine Boys

Rehearsals Begin: February 7

Opening: February 24

We are seeking a Costume Designer for our upcoming production of The Sunshine Boys. This role is responsible for creating and executing a complete costume design that supports character, storytelling, and the visual world of the show.

The Costume Designer will collaborate closely with the Director and production team to develop the costume concept, source or build garments, conduct fittings, and prepare all costumes for rehearsals, technical, and performances.

Designs should reflect the age, history, and personality of the characters in this classic comedy while remaining practical, comfortable, and performance ready.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing the overall costume concept
• Creating visual references or renderings
• Sourcing, building, and altering costumes
• Managing costume budget and tracking expenses
• Running fittings and making adjustments
• Preparing costumes for tech and performances
• Maintaining costume continuity for the run

Prior theatrical costume design experience is preferred, along with strong organizational and collaboration skills. Please email interest, and past design work to our email!

SALARY

$1,500.00 – $2,000.00 per show
