BILLY – Tall, dark, sexy... could play Jud or Billy Bigelow. A Leading Man type who must sing well and have a great personality. This guy must dazzle the ladies with his charm and have a sense of humor and a commanding way with the music.
WILL – A song-and-dance man who could play Will Parker as well as Lt. Cable. A friendly performer who must be able to play comedy as well as tender moments.
JULIE – A pretty young woman who could play Laurey or Julie. Big soprano. Must have a soft sexiness and playfulness that is endearing. Beneath it all is a spunky lady.
ANNA – An attractive woman who could play Anna, Lady Thiang or Aunt Eller. Must have a quality of mystery and sensuousness and be able to play both the regal and the silly. (CAST)
NELLIE – A strong and upfront young performer who might play Ado Annie or Nellie. Appealing with a big, big voice. Might also be at home doing rock & roll, but now finds herself doing the Rodgers & Hammerstein classics.

GEROGE KIMBALL -The protagonist, a suburbanite and extreme hypochondriac who mistakenly believes he has a fatal heart condition.
JUDY KIMBALL - George's loving, patient wife, who becomes confused and suspicious of George's odd behavior.
ARNOLD NASH -George's best friend and neighbor, a cynical, womanizing bachelor who helps (and hinders) George’s schemes.
MR. AKINS- A funeral director who accidentally reveals George’s secret preparations (buying plots) to Judy.
BERT POWER - An old flame of Judy’s whom George tries to set her up with, thinking he is a suitable replacement.
DOCTOR- George's doctor, who tries to manage his patient's intense hypochondria.
WINSTON - A potential suitor for Judy, who is comically knocked out by George in the end
LINDA- A neighbor who contributes to the confusion surrounding George's supposed affair.
