DESCRIPTION

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre is seeking experienced House Manager(s) for our upcoming Off-Broadway production. The House Manager ensures a safe, welcoming, and professional audience experience while supervising front-of-house staff and coordinating with stage management and the box office.

Performance Dates & Schedule

January 29 – March 1, 2026

- Tuesday–Friday: 7:00 PM

- Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM

- Each shift is approximately 3 hours, with a call time one hour before curtain

- Training: January 28 and watch invited dress rehearsal

Venue

A.R.T./New York – Mezzanine Theatre
502 W 53rd Street, New York, NY

Responsibilities

- Manage all front-of-house operations before, during, and after performances

- Collaborate with the Box Office Manager, ushers, concessions, and theater staff to ensure a smooth audience experience

- Oversee audience seating, late seating, and post-show procedures

- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, including VIPs, industry guests, and press

- Coordinate closely with box office and stage management

- Lead front-of-house safety and emergency procedures and resolve patron issues as needed

Qualifications

- Prior house management or front-of-house supervisory experience in theater or live events

- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

- Fireguard Certificate(a plus but not required)
