DESCRIPTION

The REV on Tour is seeking an actor to cover the male roles for shows for their upcoming REV on Tour season.

The REV on Tour is one of the largest in-school tours of its kind. Annually, about 60,000 students throughout New York State receive performances and workshops from our company of professional actors. These performances and workshops are tailored and crafted to meet the specific needs at each grade level, and they happen directly in the school building. We have a long-standing tradition of excellence, and are committed to providing access to high quality theatrical experiences for every child in NYS.

The tours depart from Auburn NY daily. We provide the company vehicle for the tour, but you must have a clean, valid driver's license to be considered for employment. Typically you are doing two shows a day, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends are off once rehearsals have completed.

All actors assist with setting up and taking down the set at each performance site, as well as driving the company vehicle. Actors must have a clean, valid driver's license and also be up-to-date on Covid-19 vaccinations.

Performance contracts typically run from September to December and Jan through May. Housing in Auburn is included in compensation.

The Male presenting swing will cover multiple roles in multiple shows. The majority of the shows are 45 minutes long and non-musical.
