DESCRIPTION

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Creede Repertory Theatre seeks a Development Director to work in strategic partnership with the Artistic Director and Managing Director to attract the philanthropic resources necessary to ensure the theater’s vital role in the rural, mountain community of Creede, CO and grow its reputation nationally.

The Development Director will oversee the development and implementation of all fundraising activities and lead engagement across philanthropic sectors: individual, foundation, family and donor advised funds, and corporate.

CRT has an operating budget of $2 million, with contributed revenue representing 65% of that total. The resources required to take the theater to the next level must grow this budget.

We seek a confident, collaborative, and self-motivated fundraiser with proven ability to produce results in a deadline-oriented environment; a strong communicator with demonstrated ability to engage prospects and sustain and grow donor relationships; a strong analytic and critical thinker with effective decision-making, problem identification, avoidance and resolution skills; who has working knowledge of major gifts management, research, digital fundraising, donor database systems and special events management.

The Development Director will report directly to the Board of Trustees.

SALARY

$75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
