Seeking Composer for Untitled Developing Theatrical Musical Work!

If you are a composer who excels at the intersection of musical theatre/pop/rock/electronic/folk, I’d love to hear from you!

Composers who work outside the traditional theatrical conventions are strongly encouraged to submit.

Log line/about the show so far: A young singer wants to be famous, and doesn’t care what it takes to get there. By creating a rumor online, she sets off a disturbing and hilarious series of events as the rumor becomes realer than she could have imagined. As the lines between reality and fiction are blurred, this spooky, energetic and fantastical rock opera solo show explores desperation, online personas, and what it takes to have it-girl-energy.

Please send any relevant samples of your work, including music, writing samples, other skills and hobbies, etc. Also, please feel free to introduce yourself as well as what about the project piques your interest, how you prefer to collaborate, and anything else you think I should know!

Seeking collaborators local to the NY/NJ area who would be willing to devote about an hour or two a week together as needed to the furthering of the project. If we make a fabulous team and the project flourishes, I plan to market it to fringe festivals and other companies and take it as far as possible down the road!
