DESCRIPTION
Catalyst Theatricals seeks a Company Manager for The Very Hungry Caterpillar Interactive Show at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center this spring. The show averages 5 shows a week, sometimes more over holiday weeks, and up to four performances in one day. Performances run during the daytime only, between 8am and 5pm, on both weekends and weekdays. The Company Manager will be responsible for leading the setup/teardown of the space each day (the performance is in a shared space) as well as communicating with General Management and the venue on both patron and company issues. Additional responsibilities include running weekly payroll through Cast & Crew Payroll, scheduling performers and stage managemnent through the scheudling platform Sling, managing the merchdanise stock, house seat holds, and box office settlement reconciliaton. This position reports to and works closesly with general management.The right candidate should be forward thinking, highly organized and be able to work in a fast paced, collaborative group setting.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Interactive Show is a show for kids 6 months and up that includes 4 Eric Carle stories told with the help of puppets: From Head to Toe, The Very Quiet Cricket, The Very Busy Spider & The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Cast is a rotating group of three performers, one stage manager and one merchandise salesperson.

SALARY
