Compensation: $1,275.00/week

Locations: Office - Foresight Theatrical (1675 Broadway, Suite 1600 New York, NY 10019)

Theatre – Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street New York, NY 10036)

Schedule: 4 0+ hours/week, including nights and weekends. The schedule will be a six (6) day work week.

Start Date: On or about February 2, 2026

End Date: On or about September 6, 2026

Position Summary:

The Broadway producers of MAYBE HAPPY ENDING are seeking a Company Management Assistant to support the ongoing operations of the production, reporting directly to the Company Manager. The CM Assistant will serve as a key individual within the company, working collaboratively with the general managers and company manager to ensure a successful, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

We are seeking someone who is a self-starter, a multi-tasker, and able to prioritize responsibilities. Candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, cultural fluency, creative problem-solving skills, empathetic leadership, someone who embodies a positive outlook and assumes positive intent, and a track record of on-their-feet problem solving. Candidates must be proactive and exhibit clear communication skills, the ability to be a team player, and work both collaboratively and independently.

Eligibility:

This position is focused on providing opportunities for underrepresented individuals interested in working on Broadway in an administrative role. Please note that all levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaise between the production, theater staff, and union representatives
  • Assist the Company Manager in daily operations and support the overall management of the entire show
  • personnel (45+ actor/crew).
  • Audit petty cash receipts, invoices, and corporate credit cards
  • Assist in processing weekly payroll (including union benefits) and stuffing/delivering payroll checks
  • Tracking and processing house seat ticket requests from company members (creatives, cast, crew, etc.)
  • Represent the company and company manager at the theatre during the run of the show as directed by the Company Manager for four (4) performances each week, including weekends and holidays
  • Support planning and executing special events (anniversaries, company parties, etc.) and press events, as required
  • Assist the Company Manager and General Managers with daily tasks and projects, as assigned
  • Assisting the General Manager and Company Manager on other various tasks as needed.

The desired experience and qualifications for this position include:

  • Prior experience in the theatrical industry in a company/general/stage management capacity. Please note that all levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks and the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including demonstrated knowledge in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of the Broadway Collective Bargaining Agreements (AEA, IATSE, etc.) is a plus.
  • Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven success in executing sound judgment and handling confidential materials.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve operational issues and problem-solve in real time
  • Emotional Intelligence - self-regulation, self-awareness, social skills, empathy, and motivation.
  • Candidate must be able to manage up and be naturally curious.
  • Strong communication and good interpersonal skills; at ease relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds; ability to work effectively with teams, up, down and across organizational lines.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; Willingness to work non-traditional hours
