About The Startup: The Startup is a sharp, satirical new musical about the price we pay for digital fame. Set in the cutthroat world of Big Tech, it follows Chip Cooper and his idealistic team as they try to build a more ethical social media platform, just as their company teeters on the edge of collapse. With biting humor and bold heart, The Startup dives into our tangled relationship with technology, tackling everything from social media use and data privacy to influencer culture and the rise of AI. It’s a timely story about ambition, integrity, and what we're willing to sacrifice in the pursuit of success.
