SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in BEEHIVE (see breakdown).

PREPARATION

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, even if you have emailed one.

Prepare a brief comic (contemporary) monologue and a song in the style of the show (bring music for the accompanist).

Rehearsals: Tues. thru Fri. Sundays 9am to 3pm. Tech week Sunday 4pm to 10pm

Performances: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 7:30pm, Sundays @ 3pm. Thursday Matinees (3pm) on April 24, March 1, 8 and also Saturday 3/19 (3pm).

BEEHIVE

SEEKING:

WANDA (18+ any ethnicity, female presenting, vocal range F3 to F5) - A strong singer, she carries the bulk of the dialogue and narration throughout the revue. She is a leader - strong, powerful and engaging. She has the ability to interact comfortably with the audience. Songs include “Walking in the Rain,” “Then He Kissed Me,” “The Name Game” and others.

PATTIE (18+ Black/African American, female presenting, vocal range F3 - F5) – A strong, powerful and bold voice with a personality to match. Sings the songs "It's My Party," "You Don't Know Me," "Son of a Preacher Man" and others.

JASMINE (18+ any ethnicity, female presenting, vocal range C#3/Db3 – A5) – Independent and confident with a strong voice. Sings songs "One Fine Day," "Can’t Hurry Love" "Where Did Our Love Go?" and others.

LAURA (18+ any ethnicity, female presenting, vocal Range C#3-Db3) – Warm voice with a bit of rasp. Often the emotional center of the show. Sings songs "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow," "To Sir With Love," "Me and Bobby McGee" and others.

GINA (18+ Black/African American, female presenting, A#3/Bb3 – F5) – Fiery and fierce, somewhat sarcastic with a huge voice. Sings songs "Junkman," "Proud Mary," "River Deep Mountain High" and others.

ALLISON (18+ anything ethnicity, female presenting, vocal range F3 - F5) – Somewhat promiscuous with a sultry voice. She sings songs "Where the Boys Are," "Come See About Me," “My Boyfriend’s Back” and others.
