vocalist.

OFFSTAGE COVER 3 – Male Presenting, Late 40s – 60’s. API. Will cover the role of Thomas
Noguchi, LA County Coroner to the Stars. Also, will cover the roles of James Patterson, Louis Sonney, William Root, and various Americans of complex morality from 1880 through 1976 anywhere between Searsmont, Maine and Long Beach, California. Sings in all styles with a focus on old school crooning, à la Rat Pack.

OFFSTAGE COVER 4 – Male Presenting, 20s – early 40s. Indigenous. Covers the role of Andy
Payne. Also covers the roles of Luke Johnson, Coroner Johnson, Dwain Esper, and various
Americans of complex morality from 1880 through 1976 anywhere between Searsmont, Maine and
Long Beach, California. Sings in all styles and is a good harmonizer with a wide vocal range.

OFFSTAGE COVER 5 – Male Presenting, 40s - 60s. Any ethnicity. Covers the role of The
Bandleader/Storyteller, who represents the author’s fascination with the story of Elmer McCurdy as it relates to fame and mortality. The actor narrates the show and fronts the band. Will also cover roles of various Americans of complex morality from 1880 through 1976 anywhere between Searsmont, Maine and Long Beach, California. Strong storyteller and singer with a direct, conversational, and powerful voice. Plays guitar.

ACTOR 2 - Male Presenting, Mid 20s - 30s. White. Elmer McCurdy, the Dead Outlaw. A lost andangry young man with a need to matter and a few sparks of decency in his antisocial soul. Is a strong singer with both an edgy and vulnerable voice (Examples: Jack White and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes).

ACTOR 3 - Female Presenting, 20s - 30s. Any ethnicity. Maggie, Millicent and various roles as cast. Maggie is a young midwestern woman with a very clear plan for the American dream of success and family. Millicent grows from child to young adult in consultation with the Dead Outlaw. Also doubles various Americans from 1880 through 1976 anywhere between Searsmont, Maine and Long Beach, California. Should have a rich and mournful singing voice.
