An assistant director/choreographer is needed for an elementary after-school theatre program that presents Broadway-style musicals in two schools in Westchester County, NY. The dates for these productions can be found below.

Scarsdale, NY – Annie, Jr.
In-Person Casting: Monday, 12/16/24 @ 3:15pm-5:30pm
In-Person Casting Snowdate: Tuesday, 12/17/24 @ 3:15pm-5:30pm
Rehearsal Dates: Friday, 1/10/25 through Friday, 1/24/25 (no rehearsal Monday, 1/20/25)
Rehearsal Time: 3:15pm-5:30pm
Performances: Saturday, 1/25/25 @ 11am & 2pm
Performance Snowdate: Sunday, 1/26/25 @ 11am & 2pm

Larchmont, NY – Aladdin, Jr.
In-Person Casting: Monday, 2/3/25 @ 3:15pm-5:30pm
In-Person Casting Snowdate: Tuesday, 2/4/25 @ 3:15pm-5:30pm

Responsibilities will include teaching and reviewing blocking and choreography for children grades K-5 during the first week of rehearsal, and then will transition into a stage manager/assistant director role during the second week of rehearsal. Experience with theatre education is preferred, but experience working with children is a must.

This is a part time, independent contractor, paid position. Travel via the Metro North is reimbursed for those not commuting via car. Obtaining NYS fingerprint clearance for this position is required.
