Gene & Gilda, Cary Gitter's new play centered on the relationship between screen actors Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner, begins its run at New Jersey's George Street Playhouse December 3. Opening night is December 6, with the run continuing through December 22.

The theatre, in partnership with The League of Live Stream Theatre, is also live streaming two performances December 13 and 14.

The new work tracks the relationship between the film icons from their first meeting to dramatic career ups and downs, and to a tragically early farewell. Jonathan Randell Silver and Jordan Kai Burnett are reprising their performances as, respectively, Wilder and Radner from the work's world premiere at Penguin Rep Theater.

Joe Brancato is directing the production, which features scenic design by Christian Fleming, costume design by Gregory Gale, lighting design by Jose Santiago, sound design by Max Silverman, wig design by Bobbie Zlotnik, and dance consulting by Ryan Kasprzak. Samantha Flint is production stage manager.

In-person tickets are available at GeorgeStreetPlayhouse.org. Streaming tickets are available at LOLST.org.
