Vanguard Theater is seeking an experienced Assistant Stage Manager for our VTC Kids production of James and the Giant Peach Jr. We are looking for ASMs with a background in education and who like to work with ages 10-14

VTC Plus- James and the Giant Peach Jr

VTC Plusis Vanguard’s signature training program where young performers don’t just take classes — they put on a full-scale production. Guided by industry professionals, VTC Kids blends the fun of discovery with the rigor of real rehearsal, culminating in performances for family, friends, and the community. The students are ages 10-14 and it is an audition, invite only program.

Important Dates

Rehearsals: Sundays, January 18th-February 22nd, 12:00–5:00 PM, Wednesdays, February 4th-18th, 4:00-8:00 PM

Tech: February 25th-27th 4:00-9:00pm, March 1st 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, March 2nd-March 4th 4:00-9:00 PM

Performances: March 5th- March 8th

Total stipend: $1250

All rehearsals and performances are held in Montclair, NJ, conveniently located just a 30-minute train ride from NYC to Bay Street station.

SALARY

$1,250.00 – $1,250.00 per gig
