DESCRIPTION

Work Light Productions is seeking a Union Hair & Makeup Supervisor for our upcoming 2nd National tour of Ain’t Too Proud on the Bus & Truck Touring Agreement, commencing in the fall of 2024.

Tech Period: September 8th - September 22, 2024 (Elmira, NY)

Tour: September 2024 - Summer 2025

Weekly salary range is $1,100 - $1,400, commensurate with experience.


Position Requirements:
- Hair/Makeup experience in theatrical productions, tours, or similar environments
- Expertise in working with all hair types, styles, and textures, specifically Black and African American including wigs and specialty hairpieces
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Hair and Makeup Supervisor, preferably in theatrical productions or touring environments
- Certification(s)/Training in related field
