DESCRIPTION

The following roles need to be filled ASAP for Ruth's Story. The play is about a Holocaust survivor who is trying to rebuild her life in NYC in the 1950s. The staged reading will be held on April 17th at 7PM in NYC. If interested, please contact the email below with your name, email address and which role you would like to audition for. Rehearsals will be held on weekend afternoons once we fill both roles.

HARRY FRANKEL (Age 30) HARRY, 30, is a fellow survivor. He is rebuilding his life, raising his nephew JOEY, and is extremely interested in RUTH.

*JOEY FRANKEL (Age 10) HARRY’S Nephew. A precocious ten-year-old boy has no memories of being hidden during the war or of his parents.

*Ensemble: Delivery boy

*Note: Joey/delivery boy can be played by an adult if needed.
