SEEKING: Actor — Male, 50+, WITH ACTUAL Cancer Diagnosis or Cancer Survivor

Location: NYC metro area (Theater TBD)

Non-profit looking to raise awareness of "Cancer Ghosting" with 10 minute One-Man-Show

The One Man Show: When family man Joe receives a devastating cancer diagnosis, he shares it with those closest to him, hoping to find support. Instead, he finds them drifting further and further away. The One Man Show will be intimate, reflective, and deeply confessional (in a similar style to Springsteen on Broadway) as our actor not only portrays Joe, but also to those who have abandoned him in his time of need.

Details: There will be no audience. Runtime ~10 Minutes.

Perfomance Date: Single perfomance 1st week of May, tristate area.

Format: This will be a film launching June 6th for Cancer Survivors Day

Compensation: $500 total, includes preproduction calls, 1 Rehersal day, 1 Performance day

Requirements: Must be able to perform multiple distinct characters/vocalities convincingly in one performance. Strong stage presence, excellent character work, clear vocal/dialect control, stamina for continuous performance.
